Productive Procrastination – Blog Designing!

I honestly think I could spend days and days playing with the design layout of my blog. In my first post for course 3 I defended my work and the designing that I’d done back in Course 1 and proudly claimed that my blog was looking great – job done.  I felt that there was little that I could do with the themes available to me so I settled with what I had and I moved on. Then I spent some time perusing the sites of my COETAIL cohort and I felt embarrassed by my lack of change.

So today I’ve gone from this:

I tried to create a more serious tone for my blog. Not sure if I took it too far. Does this design say “Come with me on an ed tech learning journey” or does it say (in a robot voice) “I am a maths teacher that needs uniformity in colour in shape”

Side note: I have WAY too many tabs open.

  1. I like this new layout as it gives me a glimpse of who you are. Obviously, you’re a math person! It fits in with the name of your blog (The Common Ratio) and helps us to understand why your blog is titled thus!
